In June 2014 I was selected as one of 20 artists to make work for the festivals' 'Lucky Dip' commissions. I was randomly allocated the site of the Lime Kiln in Burgess Park, in the borough of Souhtwark, London. The kiln is a listed building which came with certain restraints such as the inabilty to attach anything to the structure, and there is no security in the park, meaning the work was quite likely to be stolen and/or vandalised. I therefore  decided to make work from found objects and materials, which continues the approach of my recent works in any case. There are four 'alcoves' which act as covered spaces for displaying work and consequently I created a new work for each space.
